Colosseum Productions was formed 5 years ago with one goal in mind: to provide clients with images they will treasure forever through photography and video. With a combined 40 plus years experience its image creation experts capture those special moments.
Al Opalchuk, is an award winning cinematographer and former long time camera and lighting instructor at one of Canada's leading private film schools whose short films have played at film festivals throughout the world. Through his unique vision, once behind the lens he is dedicated to creating beautiful and memorable images .
He has a strong educational background in photography graduating with honours from:
- Mohawk College Applied Photography Program
- Humber College Film & TV Production Program
- Toronto Film School Film Production Program
Sherwin Blyden, in addition to his 20 plus years camera experience, is an accomplished editor with the unique ability to tell a story through his images in his own cinematic style. Also a graduate with honours from the Toronto Film School Film Production Program.
Their expertise ensures that every product produced by Colosseum Productions is of the highest quality possible. With state of the art equipment these challenges and goals are constantly being accomplished.
All video is shot in HD and edited on APPLE editing stations with Final Cut Pro software. All photography is shot on professional Canon full-frame DSLR's with the highest quality lenses available. Adequate backups are provided to ensure that equipment failures will never be an issue to completeing any task.
Additionally, all other image creators supplied by Colosseum Productions are experienced professionals at the top of their field.
